摘要
Direct Air Capture carbon dioxide (CO2) is quite effective to mitigate the CO2 emission. The Direct Air Capture CO2 at the ambient temperature by the 2D single atom solution is developed to control the cost. The mechanical effect is firstly used to achieve the efficient CO2 capture rather than the conventional thermal effect, electrochemical effect and chemical effects. Based on the mechanical effect, 2D single atom solution compressor for CO2 capture is carefully constructed and analyzed. This is a great retrofit CO2 capture equipment compared with the conventional reactor. The energy consumption is reduced to the minimum of 0.56 GJ/t, which is much lower than the conventional system. The main energy consumption is compression, mechanic impact and friction. These are much less energy-intensive than the conventional system. The results conclude that Direct Air Capture CO2 at the ambient temperature by the 2D single atom solution is suggested as a disruptive technology for Direct Air Capture CO2.
