T1 - Dielectric characteristics of a one dimensional nano-material using PMMA stuff

N2 - To research the preparation of a one-dimensional (1D) nano-material and its dielectric characteristics, induction polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA)was initiated by 2, 2'-Azobisisobutyronitrile at the nano-hole of a track etch polymer film, and the kind of one-dimensional (1D) nano-material was obtained. The dielectric characteristics of these nano-materials, such as brokendown voltage, conduction current , the relationship of permittivity and dissipation factors dependence of frequency, were investigated by high-voltage device , precision impedance analyzer and high resistance meter etc. Through these measurements we draw the conclusion that this kind of 1D nano-material exhibits a higher dielectric strength than the original polymer film, though slightly lower than the brokendown strength of pure PMMA film. And through further controlling reaction conditions, the dielectric characteristics may be improved significantly.
