Development strategy selection for regional manufacturing industry-Guanzhong manufacturing area as example

The methodology of strategy selection for regional manufacturing development was brought out. Based on the methodology, the case of Guanzhong manufacturing area was taken. Analytic network process was introduced to integrate correlative information in the decision process. Two sub-networks were set up according to economical and social factors. Compared with other literatures about ANP, the application of multi-rules decision and synthesis of priority was emphasized. The results show that: in Guanzhong manufacturing area the priority of technology-intensive strategy, capital-intensive strategy and labor-intensive strategy descends orderly. But the priorities are different under different evaluation rules. Some relevant advices were given corresponding to different strategies.
