Development situation of drug clinical trial institutions

Objective: To summarize the present situations existing in institute or base construction for drug clinical trials in China, analyze the problems, and provide references for the construction. Methods: Data statistics and analysis for current situations of drug clinical trial institutions were performed. Results and Conclusion: The existing clinical institutions cover the 31 provinces, and show disproportion in regional and professional distributions. The solution includes configuration optimization, support of traditional Chinese medicine, and standardization of professional name.
