abstract = "In this paper, a novel compact and anti-interference filter-antenna is proposed for modern wireless communication systems. The filter antenna is based on a G;-shaped antenna integrated with a filter composed of open-loop resonators. The resonators are distributed on both sides of the common ground and carefully designed to obtain suitable coupling through the gap on the ground. The G-shaped antenna functions both as radiator and the last resonator of the filter, which are tuned to achieve the required external quality factor. The proposed structure greatly reduces the size of the circuit compared with the traditional filter antenna. The simulated results show that the filter-antenna features 2.7\% bandwidth, 2.2 dBi gain at 2.6 GHz and -20 dB out of band rejection at 0.5×f0.",
