摘要

This paper proposes a Luneburg-Fresnel composite lens that functions as a Luneburg lens (LL) in the horizontal plane and a Fresnel lens (FL) in the vertical plane. The lens has a flatness ratio of 3.4:1 and can be produced using 3D printing technology. The creation of a gradient refractive index (GRIN) ranging from 1.66 to 1.05 is achieved by drilling holes into a square dielectric substrate. In the vertical plane, the five pencil beams are generated using a triple-focus phase compensation method. They operate within a bandwidth of 912 GHz, have a reflection coefficient below -10 dB, and a gain above 19 dB. In the horizontal plane, seven fan beams are achieved, covering a bandwidth of 8-12 GHz with a reflection coefficient of less than -10 dB and a gain exceeding 13 dB.
