摘要
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) causes large rate of mortality among severely ill patients globally. According to the world health organisation (WHO) report in 2018, it is reckoned to affect over 30 million people all over the world every year. Human lives could be saved with correct and early diagnosis of COPD, which is beneficiary from the administration of proper antibiotics. Traditional diagnostic practices are economic-consuming, timeconsuming. Besides, they are short of enough sensitivity and selectivity, which provokes an urgent need for developing replaceable and alternative COPD diagnosis systems. Notwithstanding, biosensors have the incomparable scope for reasonable COPD diagnosis. This conference paper reports the manufacture of a graphene-based biosensor, oriented to the measurement of the biomarkers of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Compared with the conventional design methods, this design can not only be more accurate and practical but also decrease the cost and difficulty for the fabrication and use of the device. Thus decreasing the mortality associated with the disease.
