摘要
This paper use a DES (Detached eddy simulation) turbulence model to simulate three-dimensional flow around a circular cylinder at subcritical Re=3900. A simplify second-order immersed boundary method (IBM) is adapted for capturing the non-slip solid boundary, and a temporal second-order projection method is used for solving Navier-Stokes equations (NS). The grid system only has 360000 points which is far lower than LES calculation. Numerical results verify fidelity of the Detached Eddy Simulation (DES) model, and the present work form some basis for further development of the turbulent multiscale calculation.
