摘要
This chapter introduces the current-coupled collision probability (CCCP) method. This method discretizes the space domain into multiple cells and then discretizes a cell into multiple regions. The cells are coupled by surface currents and the regions within a cell are coupled by collision probabilities. Hence, the efficiency of the CCCP method is higher than that of the collision probability method (CPM) because it saves computational time of collision probabilities. Besides, the geometric flexibility of the CCCP method is also improved over the CPM because irregular cells can be easily coupled by surface currents. The numerical results demonstrate the geometric flexibility of the CCCP method and the efficiency of the method in calculating large-scale problems.
