摘要
This chapter introduces the crucial technologies for practical application of battery thermal management systems (BTMSs), including the online estimation of temperature distribution and comprehensive optimization based on digital twin technology. An accurate temperature distribution is essential for thermal controlling, but it generally necessitates significant computing resources. Therefore, a novel multilayer battery model is established to obtain the full-scale temperature from cell to pack level in a short time. On this basis, the various cooling and heating methods can be conducted. Meanwhile, to further improve the optimization efficiency, the liquid-cooling system with multichannel structure is modeled by leveraging the digital twin (DT) approach. To increase the system's cooling capacity, the optimization process is driven by a combination of the CFD model and the Gaussian process (GP) technique. The interactions between various components and the production of results for global optimization are better served by GP-based DT model in the DT space. The suggested approach and structure are anticipated to offer suggestions for the creation of a battery temperature control system.
