Coral-like Polypyrrole/LiFe5O8/MoS2 Nanocomposites for High-Efficiency Microwave Absorbers

摘要

Herein, based on the good electrical properties of polypyrrole (PPy), it is compounded with raspberry-like LiFe5O8via in situ polymerization and then compounded with molybdenum disulfide via a hydrothermal reaction to obtain the self-assembled coral-like PPy/LiFe5O8/MoS2nanocomposites. The hierarchical microstructure greatly improves the electromagnetic wave absorption property of the nanocomposites. The nanosheets' microstructure of molybdenum disulfide enhances the interface polarization and causes multiple relaxation processes of the nanocomposites, thereby improving the electromagnetic wave absorption performance of the composite material. The minimum reflection loss of the samples with a mass ratio of 6:1 between MoS2and PPy/LiFe5O8nanocomposites achieved -73.25 dB at 3.07 mm and then an effective absorption bandwidth of 7.20 GHz at 3.14 mm. The combination of conductive polymer and LiFe5O8with molybdenum disulfide could effectively increase the dielectric loss of the nanocomposites, further improving the electromagnetic wave absorption performance, meeting the existing ideal requirements for electromagnetic wave absorption materials. Therefore, PPy/LiFe5O8/MoS2nanocomposites could be the promising candidates for high-efficiency microwave absorbers.
