摘要
A previous study showed that the usage of the original Rhie and Chow interpolation not only affects the accuracy of the converged solution but also may cause checkerboard pressure predictions. This paper provides such numerical cases, so that the numerical heat transfer community may be fully aware of the undesirable features inherent in the original momentum interpolation and make use of modified versions of the Rhie and Chow interpolation such as those proposed for computations on a collocated grid.
