摘要
In this chapter the CFD simulation of nanofluids including heat and mass transfer is introduced. First, the basic information, such as thermal conductivity and nanoparticles concentrations, is defined and secondly the most popular CFD techniques for the modeling are introduced in some detail. Single-phase and two-phase approaches are introduced where the two-phase method was more accurate than the single-phase method, so three models named Eulerian-Eulerian model, mixture model, and Eulerian model are described. Also, in this chapter some other techniques such as volume of fluid, lattice Boltzmann method, and finite element method are introduced for solving the nanofluid mass transfer problems using numerical codes or commercial software.
