摘要

Aim: – Intra-pancreatic fat deposition (IPFD) may be associated with various pancreatic diseases. The global prevalence of IPFD is approximately 33% and is still increasing. There is still a lack of systematic clinical research on the risk factors for IPFD. Therefore, further investigating the risk factors for IPFD is of great significance for the early prevention. Methods: – This study included 187 patients who met the inclusion criteria. A questionnaire survey was conducted. The patients were divided into the IPFD group and Non-IPFD group. Factors with P<0.05 in univariate analysis were included in multivariate logistic regression analysis to identify independent risk factors for IPFD. R Studio was used to plot the nomogram and ROC curves, calculate the AUC, plot the calibration curves, and perform Bootstrap internal validation to evaluate the model’s accuracy. Results: – Univariate analysis showed that BMI, the history of T2DM, grain intake, and vegetable intake have significant differences (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis indicated that the history of T2DM (OR=2.997, 95% CI=1.198–7.496, P<0.05) was an independent risk factor for IPFD. The AUC of the predictive model was 0.713 (95% CI=0.622–0.804). The average AUC from 1, 000 Bootstrap resampling for internal validation was 0.714 (95% CI=0.666–0.761). Conclusions: – Our study found that the history of T2DM is an independent risk factor for IPFD, while BMI, vegetable intake, and grain intake are potential ones. The predictive model based on BMI, vegetable intake, and the history of T2DM provides some predictive reference for the risk of IPFD.
