摘要
Based on Euler-Lagrangian method, a three-dimensional model is proposed to analyze the phase distribution of isothermal laminar bubbly flow in vertical pipes, where each bubble is individually tracked to acquire more detailed information at interfaces. The distribution of bubble size is incorporated to reduce the calculation of void fraction distribution. Neglecting the bubble collision, coalescence and break-up, the constitutive relationships for the model are simplified. The comparisons with the available experimental data show that the present model enables to predict the distribution of bubbles with diameters less than 3. 3mm, and the lateral motion of the bubbles mainly depends on the lateral lift force. For bubbles with larger diameters, the bubble deformation and the interactions between bubble wakes and the local liquid field have a significant effect on the lateral lift force.
