N2 - High-power inverters utilized in clean energy systems such as wind power and photovoltaics are characterized by low switching frequencies, which can lead to challenges including reduced power density and inadequate output power quality. In response to the requirements of high-power power electronic systems, hybrid active neutral point clamped (HANPC) inverters and parallel inverters have emerged as a focal point in contemporary research and development efforts within the field of power electronics. This paper combines a parallel three-level inverter with a hybrid ANPC three-level inverter to propose a parallel hybrid ANPC three-level (P-HANPCTL) inverter. This paper examines various aspects of the inverter, including operational principles, NP potential control, circulating current suppression, switching frequency decoupling, and output line voltage PWM harmonic frequency doubling. The conditions needed for a space vector modulation (SVPWM) sequence to address these issues are summarized. Building upon these conditions, an integrated SVPWM approach for suppressing circulating current and doubling PWM harmonic frequency is proposed. This technique is designed for a P-HANPCTL inverter and includes NP potential control and switching frequency decoupling. Experimental outcomes validate the accuracy and efficacy of the proposed SVPWM approach.
