An efficient calculation for the temperature of dry air-core reactor based on coupled multi-physics model

摘要

The two-way coupled multi-physics model, which couples the magnetic field equations with the heat conduction equation, is established to predict the temperature distribution in dry air-core reactors. The governing equations of the coupled fluid-temperature fields in dry air-core reactors are simplified by using the dimensional analysis. Based on the simplified governing equations, the natural convection flowing in large space can be efficiently solved. By taking the functional relation between electrical conductivity and temperature into account, the numerical results show that the prediction precision of temperature field is significantly improved.
