摘要
Attenuation, which decreases the amplitude and distorts the phase of seismic wavelets, usually leads to low resolution of seismic data. The synchrosqueezing transform (SST), condensing the spectrum energy along the frequency axis and providing highly localized time-frequency representations, was introduced to inverse Q filtering for attenuation compensation in this paper. Since the amplitude correction is an inherently unstable process, we reformulate it as an inverse problem with a L2-norm regularization term in the SST domain. In addition, a reliable quality factor Q is needed in the implementation of inverse Q filtering scheme. The SST is also applied to estimate the quality factor Q using the peak frequency shift method. Therefore, we propose a completely efficient work flow to estimate and compensate attenuation using the SST. Synthetic examples and real data demonstrate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
