N2 - The adaptive reclosing of the distribution network does not have the ability to identify the nature of faults, and may blindly reclose with permanent faults, causing secondary impact on the system and electrical equipment. Therefore, an adaptive reclosing method for distribution networks based on IIDG active detection is proposed. By actively injecting multi frequency detection signals through IIDG, the feeder side voltage phase characteristic differences under transient/permanent faults were analyzed, and the identification of fault nature was achieved. If it is a permanent fault, the recloser blocked, otherwise reclose it immediately. The proposed method does not require communication or additional equipment, making it easy to implement in engineering. The simulation results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
