abstract = "A microwave sensor based on polarization conversion meta-surface is proposed in K-band. The permittivity of materials is characterized by the frequency shift of the axial ratio, ellipse angle and polarization angle curve of the transmitted wave when a linear incident wave passes through the polarization conversion meta-surface. Compared to the traditional sensors that detect the material parameters based on the results of amplitude and phase of the transmission, the proposed sensor shows a robust performance which is less affected by the environment.",
