A Permanent Fault Identification Method for Distribution Networks Based on Sequential Reclosing

摘要

Aiming at the problem that blind reclosing to permanent faults will bring secondary impacts to the distribution network, a permanent fault identification method for distribution network based on sequential reclosing is proposed. Firstly, the analysis model of using a phase segregated switch in distribution network is established. The expressions of active power of reclosing phase under temporary and permanent faults with different neutral grounding modes are derived, and the difference of active power for different fault properties is obtained. Secondly, the criterion of permanent fault identification based on active power is constructed. The influence of transition resistance, load capacity and other factors is analyzed. Finally, the reclosing strategy is proposed. PSCAD/EMTDC simulation results verify that the theoretical analysis is correct, and the proposed permanent fault identification method is highly sensitive.
