A Novel Efficiency-Improved LLC-Buck Isolated Power Processing Circuit

摘要

Due to the wide input voltage range of urban rail transit, the design of an efficient and stable auxiliary power system has become a technical problem to be solved urgently. As the isolated DC-DC converter is a key part of auxiliary power system, this paper proposed a LLC-Buck structure power processing circuit, which connects the LLC output and the output of the additional Buck circuit in series to supply the load. The proposed circuit combines the advantages of LLC and Buck, which are the peak efficiency of LLC converter when it works at the resonant point, and the strong ability of Buck converter to regulate voltage. The design method is given, and its efficiency advantage is approved by comparing with the traditional two-stage Boost-LLC circuit. Finally, the effectiveness of the circuit structure and its good dynamic response performance is verified by experiment.
