A Miniaturized Wearable Antenna and Its Spatial Diversity

摘要

This paper proposed a miniaturized wearable antenna with size 38mm*38mm*13.5mm for wearable applications. It resonates at 2.45 GHz Industrial Scientific Medical (ISM) band and the matching bandwidth is 173MHz. In order to increase the channel capacity in Body Area Network (BAN), two identical antennas are used for spatial diversity. The diversity performances of the antenna on both sides of the shoulder (case1) and one side of the shoulder (case2) are studied respectively.
