摘要
Experimental and numerical simulation research on surge characteristics of high-speed centrifugal compressor had been carried on. The dynamic process of the compressor from steady state to surge was realized by adjusting the flow control valve of the outlet pipe of the compressor. It was found that the dynamic pressure in the impeller cover and the air velocity near the impeller inlet would be affected by the stall cells, and a violent high-frequency oscillation would occur in the growth stage. When the vaned diffuser was installed, the compressor performance curve will move to the left significantly compared with that with the vaneless diffuser, and the surge frequency of the compressor in the two cases is quite different. At the same time, a full channel numerical model was established, and the deep surge was simulated and predicted by the plenum chamber model. While reduced the volume of the plenum chamber, the surge frequency and pressure oscillation amplitude of the compressor were increased, but the growth rate decreased.
