摘要
In this study,one typical shell and numerical simulation technology is used to solve the problem that the size of flanging mouth in the shell of gas insulated metal switchgear is out of tolerance and much more serious in the thick shell. The results show that the plastic forming simulation technology could accurately achieve the flanging process,with the flanging size,shape,stress,strain and load change etc. agreeing well with the actual processing. It is found that there are three key factors influencing the results,including centering between cylinder and mould,pre hole size and dimensions of the working belt,in which the last two are crucial. Finally,the optimum working belt size is determined by simulation and verified through the actual process,which successfully solves the oversize problem in flanging. The processing quality and efficiency could be improved.
