摘要
Under the carbon peak and carbon neutrality target, coal-fired power units are gradually changing from the main power source to the supporting and regulating power source, and undertake more peak shaving and frequency regulation services, making the units in the load cycling transient process for a long time. Realizing the efficient and flexible operation of coal-fired power units is a major strategic demand in China's energy field. In this paper, the existing transient process modeling methods of coal-fired power units are reviewed, and the advantages, disadvantages, and applicable conditions of these different methods are compared. The research status of operational flexibility of coal-fired power units during transient processes is introduced, including the load cycling rate of the units, the primary frequency regulation, and the automatic generation control performance of the power grid. The optimal control strategies and control effect by making full utilization of internal heat storage of coal-fired power units to realize flexible and efficient synergistic operation during transient processes are reviewed in detail. Finally, the current research status and existing problems of transient characteristics of coal-fired power units are summarized, and the future research directions are prospected.
