摘要
Oil leakage caused by the back pressure of a turbocharger compressor impeller lower than pressure in bearing cavity seriously affects working performance of the turbocharger. To investigate the internal flow and pressure distribution inside oil slinger and compare the performance of oil slinger with different structures for the optimization of the structure of oil slinger, a two-phase flow analysis model inside oil slinger is proposed. The comprehensive factors, including rotation speed and negative pressure, are considered to evaluate the working performance of the pump-out oil slinger. Then, performance of throwing oil and pumping gas is improved by optimizing the structure. Compared with the oil slinger, the pressure distribution of the pump-out oil slinger is improved effectively, and the performance is sensitive to the speed, but its pressure distribution shows an obvious S shaped curve which limits the sealing performance under extreme conditions. The pressure distribution in the improved structure is more uniform, but the pressure drop is lower. When the negative pressure is lower, the performance of the improved structure oil slinger is inferior to that of pump-out oil slinger.
