摘要

The source characteristics of low-frequenoy transmission System of offshore wind power are diffe-rent from those of traditional synchronous machine System, and the additional installation of shunt reactors at both ends of the transmission line makes that traditional eurrent differential protection and time-domain model recognition pilot protection designed for onshore wind farm transmission System are not applicable. To address this, the requirements for transmission line protection in low-frequency transmission System of offshore wind power are summarized, which arise from the frequency reduction, source control strategy and shunt reactor. Building upon the original time-domain model recognition pilot protection, the protection prin-ciple suitable for the low-frequency transmission lines of offshore wind farm is investigated. A shunt reactor eurrent compensation algorithm is proposed, and in conjunetion with the Bergeron model formulation, a novel protection principle and criterion that do not require the remote-end voltage are proposed. Additionally, a starting component based on instantaneous voltage is suggested, and the filter is designed aecording to the suitable frequency band of transmission line model. Simulation experiments are condueted to verify the correetness of the proposed protection principle and to evaluate the Performance of the protection criteria.
