摘要
In this study, several hybrid surfaces coupling capillary wick and radial minichannels were designed and processed by combining the advantages of the large heat transfer area of radial minichannel, low bubble release resistance and a large number of nucleation sites of capillary wick. The pool boiling heat transfer performance of these hybrid surfaces was obtained using HFE-7100 as the working fluid at different subcooled temperature (∆Tsub=10 K, 20 K and 30 K). The results show that the depth of minichannels has a significant effect on the heat transfer characteristics, and these hybrid surfaces coupling capillary wick and radial minichannels can further enhance the critical heat flux (CHF) and heat transfer coefficient (HTC), which are up to 130.1 W/cm2 and 0.94 W/(cm2·K), respectively. The bubble dynamics during the experiments are also analysed.
