摘要
Objective: To investigate and analyze the status of antibacterial agents usage in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) so as to provide reference for rational administration of antibacterial agents. Methods: The data of antibacterial agents administration by 914 AECOPD inpatients from January to December 2015 were collected from our hospital information system. Then we made statistical analysis of the patients' gender, age, drug administration frequency and intensity, and combination of antibacterial agents. Results: The administration of the drugs was more in men than in women, mainly aged 60 to 89 years old, with the average age of about 70. The top three antibacterial agents in terms of usage frequency and intensity were quinolones, third-generation cephalosporin/β-lactamase inhibitor compound, and carbopenems; the usage intensity of antibacterial agents in AECOPD patients were maintained in a reasonable range in our hospital. Moreover, one agent alone was used mainly in AECOPD patients and two antibacterial agents in combination were relatively common. Conclusion: The administration of antibacterial agents in AECOPD patients has its own characteristics and regularity in our hospital. Based on this information, it will be much easier for hospitals to monitor and manage, and be much more convenient to enact clinical antibacterial agents application and management strategy of a single disease, as well as guide doctors to administer antibacterial agents safely and effectively.
