摘要
The on-load tap changer is an important part of the converter transformer in ultra-high voltage direct current transmission engineering, which has a complex structure and strict switching time sequence requirements. An unreasonable electrical time sequence would quickly lead to electrical problems such as arc ablation failure and so on, thereby affecting the safe operation of the transmission engineering. Aiming the problems on dynamic model construction and unclear influence law of electrical timing characteristics for the on-load tap changer, a general switching dynamic model is built based on an energy method, and a calculation method is proposed for energy transmission and collision energy dissipation. Both a multi-body dynamic simulation model and a general dynamic model are established and compared for an on-load tap changer, and the simulation results show that the angular velocity of the two models are consistent, and the relative errors of electrical switching timing are both less than 2.01%, which verifies the correctness of the equivalent model construction method. Furthermore, the comparison with the experiment shows that the angular displacement and angular velocity curves of the two are consistent. In addition, the influence law of key parameters on the mechanical and electrical switching characteristics for the on-load tap changer is studied. The overall switching time decreases with the increase of driving torque and increases with the increase of rotational inertia exponentially, and is significantly affected by the switching position of the main contact (MC). The key electrical sequence is influenced by a large driving torque and moment of inertia, and the switching time of vacuum contacts - V1 and V2 is linearly related to the switching positions of V1 and V2. The switching positions of V1, transition contact Z1, V2, and transition contact Z2 simultaneously control the interval time between V1-Z1 and V2-Z2.
