Abstract
Porous silver sub-microcubes were synthesized through a solid-liquid (SL) reaction approach by using solid Ag3PO4 crystals as sacrificial template. The formation of the pores in silver sub-microcubes was due to the volume shrinkage occurring during the reduction of Ag 3PO4 to Ag. This novel porous material exhibits a remarkable performance in surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS).
