Abstract

In this paper, a variable step-size LMS adaptive filtering algorithm is discussed during the vibration control of hoop truss structure. Compared to the normal LMS algorithm, this method can resolve contradictions of fast convergence speed and low residual error simultaneously. By building fuzzy rules between step size µ and the error signal, a novel variable step size adaptive filtering algorithm is used to attenuate the vibration of hoop truss structure. And a simulation is done to show the excellent property of the variable step size LMS adaptive filtering algorithm.
