Abstract
Global warming has become one of the major problems of human society. Driven by the goal of carbon neutrality, the carbon emission permit system has been established gradually, which brings new thinking to the problem of unit commitment. Renewable energy is beneficial to the gradual reduction of carbon emission, but its variability will influence the dispatch of power systems, which requires flexible resources such as demand-side resources. Therefore, this paper establishes a two-stage stochastic unit commitment model for systems with renewable energy considering demand-side resources and carbon emission permits. With the case study founded on a modified IEEE 24-bus system, the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified.
