Two samples decoding in linearly coded profilometry: optimum shifting quantity, accuracy and application

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Linearly coded profilometry (LCP) is a new optical profilometry presented recently. The optimum shifting quantity and accuracy of LCP implemented with two samples were investigated from a more practical point. At first the expression of the maximum value of the square phase error difference was derived, then the accuracy was analysed. Two kinds of dynamics multichannel LCP were proposed. In use, it should be determined according to the optical properties of the objective surface to be measured. A schematic diagram of the two-channel dynamic 3-D sensing system of LCP was given.
