Abstract
This paper reported the CW tunable Cr4+ : forsterite laser,pumped by the CW Nd : YAG lasers(1. 06μm). The crystal was Ø5×9mm. When the absorption pump power was 8. 7W,we got the 1. 05W output power,and the tunable range was 1186nm to 1306nm.
