Transient double-hot-wires technique of measuring thermal conductivity of liquid

Abstract

In order to eliminate the end effect, the transient hot wire apparatus for measuring thermal conductivity of liquid has been developed based on the double-wires structure. Uncertainty of the measuring system was analyzed. The hot-wire apparatus was calibrated by measuring a sample liquid, which shows a high precision of the measuring apparatus. The apparatus can be used to measure the thermal conductivity of liquid.
