Abstract

The Chinese Academy of Sciences' Intelliegent Control and Systems Engineering Center introduced the Intelliegent Vehicle Platforms project. The goal of this project was to establish Vehicular Embedded Computing Platform which supports and evaluates R&D and product verification in automotive electronics. The project aims to promote use of intelligent technology for safe and smart vehicles which prototypes vehicular electronic and sensory systems for the Chinese automotive industry. The research project covers basic vehicular dynamic behaviors, vehicular sensory technology, design of virtual sensors for monitoring, driver assistance and safety warning systems.
