Abstract

A huge amount of cryogenic energy is released from LNG gasification process. Liquefaction cycle of gas influenced by LNG flux and the pressure of heat exchanger was studied, taking Claude cycle as an example. It was studied how LNG flux affected factors such as liquefied ratio, energy consumption per unit, and exergy efficiency. Claude cycle can be considered to reduce the expanded gas volume, improve the liquefied ratio, cut down energy consumption per unit, and enhance the exergy efficiency.
