Abstract

This communication reports a remarkably simple approach for the preparation of Au₃Cu alloy nanocrystals via phase-stabilized synthesis. The as-prepared Au₃Cu nanocrystals exhibit significantly enhanced catalytic activity in a CO₂ electroreduction reaction, compared with monometallic Au nanocrystals.
