Abstract

Being aimed at the particular thermal-surroundings, this paper analyzes the complicated thermal features of stratospheric vehicles in the near space and the particularity of the thermal-control processes for them. According to the power consumption of loads and the power sources as well as requirements for thermal management of the vehicles, a model of thermal management and design for the vehicles is presented. Some numerical examples are proposed to show the feasibility of the model applied to the thermal management and design of vehicles.
