Abstract
A mathematical model of two-phase natural circulation loop is developed. Density wave instability (Type I) is calculated, and the predicted result agrees with experiment quite well. Through calculating, the instability boundary of density wave oscillation under the conditions of 5 MW THR is obtained too.
