Abstract
The maximum lifting-pressure performance of steam injector and the relationships between it and the main structure parameters are studied theoretically and experimentally. The calculation and experiment results show that the calculation value of the coefficient of maximum lifting-pressure performance may be as high as 14 and the experiment value may be as high as 2.6. The area ratio between inlet and outlet of the mixing-chamber and the gap of annular water nozzle are the most important factors lead to the difference between the calculation and experiment values. The maximum lifting-pressure performance increases with the increase of the area ratio between inlet and outlet of the mixing-chamber and the decrease of the gap of annular water nozzle. The relationships between maximum lifting-pressure performance and structure parameters obtained by calculation and experiment are in good agreement.
