Abstract

Fluorinated ether substance F-methyl methyl ether(HFE143a) used as a refrigerant for refrigerators is analyzed. The thermophysical properties of HFE143a and the original refrigerant CFC12, HFC134a, HC600a and HFC152a/HCFC22 are compared. The performances of refrigerator refrigeration cycle of standard operating condition and those of variable operating condition are calculated and analyzed theoretically. The result indicates that the refrigeration performance of HFE143a is similar to that of CFC12 and HFC134a, and the former's energy consumption is lower than the latter's. HFE143a can meet the higher environment request.
