Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of IHC-93 on myocardial ischemic-reperfused injury in rats. Methods: The injury model was produced by the ligation of descending anterior branch of the left coronary artery. Results: The study showed that IHC-93 at the dose of 0.125, 0.25 and 0.5 mg·kg-1 reduced the area of acute myocardial infarction caused by myocardial ischemia and reperfusion, reduced creatine phosphokinase (CK) and creatine phosphokinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) levels in serum. IHC-93 also diminished ET-1 in myocardium and myocardial edema. Conclusion: IHC-93 can exerta significantly protective effect on myocardial ischemic-reperfused injury in rats.
