The Initial Yield Characteristics of Materials with Transformation

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In this paper, finite element method is used to study the initial yield behavior of the materials with transformation. The results show that there are changes in the shape and the center's position of the initial yield surface of the materials with transformation comparing with those of the materials without transformation. Furthermore, the results also show that these changes are related with the transformation fraction and the transformation strain of material.
