Abstract
Influence of different glass fiber distribution on dielectric properties of the composite materials were investigated. We found that dielectric constant and loss tan of glass fiber horizontal distribution were significantly greater than the glass fiber vertical distribution. This paper also studied the influence of water in the glass fiber reinforced materials on dielectric properties. With increasing water absorption, the dielectric constant and the loss of glass fiber vertical distribution had a basic upward trend. For the glass fiber horizontal distribution, with increasing the water content, the dielectric constant had a upward trend, but the loss declined gradually. Results of dielectric spectrum in different temperature showed with increasing the temperature, the dielectric constant and loss increased, especially in the low-frequency situation. While when increasing the temperature, the loss had abasic upward. Especially in the high temperature, the loss of glass fiber vertical distribution had peak.
