The hemodynamic responses of nitroderm to congestive heart failure

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In this report, the acute hemodynamic responses of Nitroderm TTS reported in ten patients of congestive heart failure with dilated cardiomyopathy. It showed that, the average right atrial pressure (mRAP) decreased very significantly (P < 0.01) and lasted 8 hours, cardial index (CI) increased significantly (P < 0.05) and lasted 12 hours. It is suggested that local application of Nitroderm can be used as a treatment of congestive heart failure.
