Abstract

The 26th Youth Automation Conference (YAC2011) of the Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) took place May 20-22, 2011, in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, P.R. China. This conference series is sponsored by the CAA and organized by the Youth Working Committee of the CAA. YAC2011 was hosted by the School of Automation at Southeast University. More than 100 scholars and graduate students attended the opening ceremony of the conference on May 21, 2011. During the ceremony, the symbol of the conference, the Wiener Cup, was handed over from last year's YAC host, Liaoning Shihua University, Liaoning Province, P.R. China, to this year's host, Southeast University. After careful evaluation by the Awards Selection Committee, two papers were selected for Best Paper Awards. The first award was given for Statistical Information Tracking Control for Complex Non-Gaussian Stochastic who discussed how to submit papers to technical journals.
