Abstract

This paper studies the protocol of synchronization in complex dynamical networks via pinning control by using a new error variable approach. PI control is used to stable the error system, which can force the complex dynamical networks to reach synchronization. It is found that if the disturbances satisfy some conditions, synchronization can be achieved by pinning the least number of nodes. Simulations are finally performed to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
